I’m Georgie Marie Dimoulis,

I’m so happy you stopped by!

A few fun facts about me:

I’ve loved photography since I was about 10 years old — which means a camera has been part of my story for quite a while now.

I’m Greek, and here’s a fun one: I actually do not legally have a middle name.

Just like nicknames are lovingly dubbed to a friend, I decided to dub myself Marie. Why, you ask? GOOD question.

The short answer? I felt a little left out.

But the more meaningful answer is rooted in my family.

My first name was given to me after my grandmother, and I was almost given my great-grandmother’s name as my middle name. As I grew older and learned more about my heritage, my family, and stories that came before me, I began to see just how much of them lives on in who I am today.

So, choosing Marie became my own little way of continuing that tradition, carrying a piece of the generations before me into the next chapter of my story.

The more I’ve learned about where I come from, the more everything seems to make sense about the woman I am today. I’m incredibly grateful for a family that supports me & maybe that’s part of why photography feels so natural to me.

I’ve always been drawn to the little pieces of a story, the expressions that disappear in a second, the laughter between poses, the people we love, and the moments we don’t realize will mean everything someday.

To me, photography isn’t simply about taking a pretty picture.

It’s about holding onto a piece of your story.

Because years from now, when the moment has passed and life looks completely different, a photograph has this beautiful way of whispering: "Look. You were here. You loved. You lived this.”

And I think that’s pretty special.
